What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by the browser. They can remember settings, support security and — with consent — help analyse traffic.
Similar technologies include browser local storage (localStorage),
which we use to remember your cookie decision.
Legal basis for cookies
- Necessary cookies — legitimate interest (site operation and security) and applicable telecom / e-privacy rules for what is needed to provide the service.
- Analytics cookies — only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
On first visit we show a banner where you can accept all cookies, stick to necessary only, or choose categories in settings.
Cookie categories on this site
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Duration / consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Site operation, remembering cookie choice, basic form security | lubi_cookie_consent (localStorage), form anti-spam session / tokens |
Until deleted / expiry · always active |
| Analytics | Visit statistics, page popularity, traffic sources (no personalised ads) | Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_* and related) |
Usually up to 2 years (Google-dependent) · only with consent |
We do not use advertising or remarketing profiling cookies on this site.
Analytics is optional: it loads only after your consent
and when a Measurement ID is set in site config
(js/site-config.js). If the ID is empty, GA does not start.
Google Analytics
After analytics consent we may run Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). It helps us understand how many people visit and which content is useful.
- The GA script is not loaded until you consent to analytics and an ID is configured.
- Where possible we use settings that limit identification (including IP anonymisation in config).
- You can withdraw consent any time — cookie settings or the site banner.
- More about Google and data: Google Analytics docs and Google Privacy Policy.
How to manage cookies
- On our site — click Cookie settings (also in the footer) and change your choice.
- In the browser — you can block or delete cookies in settings (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.). Blocking necessary cookies may break the site.
- Additionally — you may use Do Not Track or script blockers; effectiveness depends on the browser.

We may update this policy when tools or laws change. The current version is published on this page with the last update date.
